I’m a children’s author, writing fantastical tales with a large helping of humour.
I grew up in Newport, South Wales where, thanks to my local library, I developed a lifelong obsession with myth and magic. Now I live in the Welsh mountains with my husband and two cats, (who are disappointingly unmagical – as far as I know…)

I’m hugely excited that the second book of the Tapper Watson series will be published in January 2027. The first book gained stunning reviews and, dare I say it, I think this one is even better. It’s very loosely based on the story of the Odyssey, with added space pirates and a whole new space river to explore.
