The children really enjoyed your visit. They were so excited to meet you. Some of my class have brought in books yesterday and today from home to read. I know you have really inspired them. Once again many thanks for coming into school. It was an amazing experience. Penygarn School, Pontypool
Just a short email to say thank you for yesterday from myself, Julie & Year 7. Another successful and productive lesson. I’m looking forwarding to seeing some of their imaginative stories. St Cenydd Community School, Caerphilly
Thank you so much for a truly wonderful day. The feedback I have had from my colleagues has all been absolutely glowing and the children haven’t stopped talking about what a fantastic time they had. They are all very enthusiastic about reading the book and finding out more about your characters. Blackheath Prep School, London
I fell in love with mythology when, aged nine, I stumbled across a book of Greek myth in my local library. I practically wore the book out with reading it and it eventually had to be prised out my hands. It’s no surprise, then, that when I started writing, I jumped joyfully into the many worlds of legend. My books are a mash-up of mismatched myths, shot through with humour and held together by a love of story.

Want to know how the publishing industry works, struggling to find ideas, or need some help polishing up your story? I can offer writing workshops for library and community groups.
Virtual Visits
If an in-person visit isn’t possible I can still visit you via the wonders of modern technology. I can do a 40 minute remote session, using zooms or Microsoft Teams, or whatever you prefer. I tailor these talks to the audience but I will generally include a short reading, a bit about myself and my books, some writing challenges, and a time for questions.
